2. looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong battery life.
3. Sleek looks/weight.
4. performance.

acer aspire one or msi wind. Msi wind can OC from the bios and has no extra heat gained.

The asus netbook is also amazing. Its got enough power to atleast play source games, and do just about anything else you could want from a netbook. Just get a 6 cell battery and you should get atleast 6 hours of life.

not reliable.
They aren't many netbook out thair that doesn't have loooooooooooooooooooong battery life, just look for which one is on sale and buy extra pack battery,
ASUS always have those eee lappy for sale and so does Dell with their coupon.
unless you are looking for dual atom (lol hyperthreading) or ION.
edit: avoid Acer,emachine,Gateway
some quality that is.

For a netbook (unless you want an ion or something), things are pretty standard in the way of performance -- you can't expect much.
I say just get what's cheap.

The ION 2 (Optimus) uses both the ION and Intel graphics and switches on the fly.
Nvidia plans to incorporate this into the PineView based Intel netbooks.
