It's one of two things:

A script that shows the username of the person who's reading it

A bbcode thing that shows the username of the person who's reading it:

Code:
[readername]


Hitler

^This is the bbcode. Although it looks like your name to you, on my screen it shows Phox, on The fish's screen it shows The fish, etc.

Don't worry. If you weren't here the day that we discovered it and then SHOT IT TWENTY FOUR TIMES IN THE HEAD, it would be hard to understand.
