I need to know which to choose of these:
• Videocard
• Should I get a 12 in 1 Internal Flash Reader/Writer?
• What operating system?

WINDOWS 7 IS NOT SPECIAL ITS A BANDWAGOn
IF YOUR PLANNING TO GET VISTA GET WINDOWS 7
GET XP OR UBUNTU :3
if you wana play games on ubuntu use WINE or some shit like that :3
or dual boot XP + Ubuntu

You can't play games with Wine on Ubuntu, at least not with Steam that is

The cpu just needs to run the program. If the gfx card cannot back it up it will lag like a bitch.

Indeed, just get a GPU like the HD4850/70 or 90, or perhaps the 57xx series
