While dueling an NPC on the game I found the value that stores the lifepoints (initially at 8000) and I've successfully changed it, Let's say to 200. My problem occurs when I attempt to do that 200 damage to reduce there life to 0 and win.. it doesn't work. The lifepoints subtract to 0 but the game keeps on going. I've tested and tested and it seems that although I've changed the value the game retains the ACTUAL value and still refers to that when determining the win conditions. I'm hoping someone can help me out on what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks!

Just a thought. Perhaps the server keeps track of the mob's (NPC) HP? You changing it via CE is client side. Read sticky on client/server side. If you're trying to hack/cheat the damage done, perhaps the server does have a set of rules it goes by. Example, if you're level 5 and have 15 STR, you can't possibly do 5000 damage to a mob... You may want to read more about D&D game rules, as most RPG are based upon, to understand how the stats affect what you do. Also note, some games, if not many, have some kind of hack/cheat protection. They may/will DC and eventually ban your account.
PS: welcome to the world of botting for online games it's the solution for repetitive menial tasks !!! |
