|
I recently got a new computer with windows 7 x64 and just downloaded cheat engine and tried it. It doesn't seem to work on games that it worked on on windows XP. For example Age of Empires, when i search for a resource it shows a bunch of addresses and when i try to refine the search it doesn't find the value I'm looking for. I am running it as administrator. Can anyone please help me.

then no idea.
You are aware of the fact that age of empires doesn't store resources like the values are shown in the game right ? (xor encryption on the values)

What version of AoE and what are you looking for exactly? It's possible AoE changed on 7 x64 from XP; I'm actually on the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and I have AoE 3 installed, so I could test this out to verify it for you; drop me a PM if you do post back and I'll be sure to check it out.

I'm using AoE 1 and the not online part and that was just an example. I can't seem to get anything to work except the CE tutorial. I was able to use CE on XP without any problems so I don't think it's me doing something wrong.

AoM does, not AoE. AoE's key values are FLOAT's. Nothing the OP shouldn't be able to easily find anyway by just changing up the search method
