Cheat Engine

Hi my name is alex, I am very new to cheat engine and to changing values in memory.

So I hope this is the right forum to post this,, if not would someone please advise me where it should be posted?

Now on to my question, I have a game called entombed that I would like to change several values in memory for.

Entombed is an audio only off line rpg which has been designed to be playable by people who are visually impaired, it can be downloaded, pm me for the url, as I can't post them yet, and I doubt you will find it if you put entombed into google.


The problem with the game I am having is that Firstly addresses for some values change from game to game such as amounts of gold or healing potions, so I guess I will have to use code injection to allow me to have a permanant cheat for the ones I have.


The big problem is though that I actually can't find most of the values I want to change, no matter what scan I do, even though I know the values from the game so I know what they are supposed to be. But when I do scans I just can't find values for health, magic points experience, skill points and level.

I would be very grateful if someone could please take a look at it if they have time and advise me how to start tracking down its values and maybe talk me through finding one or two.

try going broader on your search

EG: switching to Inc/Dec scan type


if that fails, use changed unchanged scan type

Hi many thanks for your reply.

I tried with both the changed value scan and the decreased value scan, and also increased for other values.

However I could still find nothing.

Could you please tell me, what option you were referring to when you said change the scan type to inc/dec? as I have know idea what option you were talking about there.
