Hey people!

I've been using cheat engine for some time now, and it never failed me.

Story (Shortened) -> I recently bought a G15 -> Has LCD -> display things with LCDStudio -> write plugin in VB -> Plugin reads memory -> info for reading memory is gathered from cheat engine.

And it works! But: I want to know what the adress is with the ??? next to it (000700C8) (see screenshot in attachment) And how i can find it in other ways.

So reformulated: What is it, and are there other ways to find this adressthing (what is exactly?) without using the pointer scanner?

Wtf, it's been like? 2 months? And nobody knows about these functions of cheat engine? It's that missing piece of information stopping me from developing...

I understand what you mean but I'm baffled as to what exactly the address is.

gnotify.exe+000700c8 means: the address that gnotify.exe starts at, plus 000700c8

usually gnotify.exe starts at 00400000 (can be different if the pe header of the exe allows relocation)

so, the address will (usually) be 004700c8

and seeing offset 20 is used:
read the 4 byte value at &H004700c8
add &H20 to that value which will represent a new address
and read that address out (or write to it, whatever you want)
