i am new in this and i decided to use it on wow to change experience.
after i while i get both address that responde to exp change, so i guessed that both are exp addresses. now when i try to change it value and go back to game to earn some exp, nothing happens. also both adreess change again of value, as if my changes where not done. Both are black.
What can i do to change this.
I saw on a video a guy doing it, so i suppose there is a way

thx anyway

As a beginner you have to know that what you do with cheatengine is editing values on your pc not on the server itself (Look up Clientsided-Serversided).

The guy on youtube maybe just changes the things on his pc, not on the server, cause then its a bit more difficult.

No. Some online games can be altered. But World of Warcraft is running almost everything Server-Sided, and therefore you can't touch it.

But the Client-Sided stuff is what you have a chance at altering (Start out by trying on small, simple games) :)

Is quite simple actually. There are 2 possible reasons for your problem. Either the 2 addresse you found are black (non static) so in this case you have to find the pointer, either the exp is server sided wich is hard to believe.

What he said^. This is the bottom-line. Sim chance of doing anything great on online games, especially popular/well-coded/decent ones.

Bullcrap. Don't preach on something you clearly know little about. Black addresses don't mean it's wrong!! It means the address is dynamic. If altering this address has no effect, then finding a pointer to this non-working address is pointless. And no, server-sided experience is very VERY EASY to believe.

MMORPG makers try to protect their games against hacking. The easiest way to do this is saving all (important) data on the server, on their part of the client-server-architecture.
