Random generated values like "critical strike" can be find in a lot of games.

For example in a strategy game i have an item which gives me a 10% chance that my next strike will be a critical one which in this case means my base damage will be increased with a multiplicator of 1.75.

My question is, how to find the chance and the multiplicator in the memory.

I myself find it hard to get these values 'cause I can't change them, so I can't just searh and filter them out so easily.

For example I can change my HP in the game by puting different items on my character or it changes by itself when leveling up so it is easy to filter out it's value from thousands of others.
