I'm trying to write a similar speed hack for Warhammer Online and I've found that CheatEngine works in it but I would imagine is easily detectable. I would think that most mmo's would detect dll injection and allow the GM's to quickly ban those who are hacking. However, there is a cheat for World of Warcraft called WoWInfinity that allows for speedhacking to ones desires with no chance of getting banned (unless another player sees you doing it and reports you to a GM) Any idea how WoWInfinity gets around the banwaves?

I don't know the actual coding for WI, but I have it. WI is written in AutoIt, and I believe it just reads, and writes memory. WoW's hacking prevention program is called Warden, Warden is believed to scan for certain offsets being changed. So they have to use offsets not being scanned for.

Do not take any of this information as fact.
