Has Apple finally defeated their biggest nightmare... Jailbreaking the iPod, iPhone is already possible. But their newest creation, the iPad have they finally made it so it can't be jailbroken? I hope not, Apples crap is 10x better when you can jailbreak it.

It depends on the firmware, it's nearly 99% possible of a jailbreak being released on new firmware. But, that depends on if people work on the firmware, or if it's the original firmware that iPod Touches and iPhones use, then it's obviously possible to have it...

for the new ipods (3rd generation+) its a tethered jailbreak meaning once you restart your ipod (it loses battery or a manual turn off) the jailbreak will disappear

hard to say actually. Yes the firmware is extremely similar to that of the iphone and ipod touch's, BUT, Apple has always been trying to patch jailbreaking, through firmware updates to even 3rd generation ipod touches, that were for a while impossible to jailbreak. I'm sure that Apple has added as much security and has patched all possible exploits that they could find.

it can't be possible even if they find away to stop jail breaking someone would just find a way to to crack through it. I have the latest IPod Touch 3rd Gen i jail broke it with black rain and it works great.

I'm assuming yes, most people jailbreak or mod most products out there and technology from different companies. What will stop them from this one.

Im guessing there will probably be one, IF any developers feel like doing so; GeoHotz (George Hotz is his real name I believe) made BlackRa1n, but he hasn't updated much ('cause he is working on modding PS3s I believe) so IDK, he might come out and develop something for the iPad and there are a couple other developers out there with jailbreaks. I recall one of the big developers was releasing an iPad Jailbrake which he/they tweeted onn twitter.

Also if you are thinking of getting an iPad just get an ipod touch and or iphone if you really want the 3G and jailbrake that shit :3
