for something simple it's good except it looks to me like the are no feet and I don't get what's with the red and white thing near his leg.
also, what program did you use to make this?

I think that red and white thing is a red flag on a white pole.

the feet are facing forward but it's been silhouetted.
Looks like you cut a bit off the leg on the left.

I agree with Shadow, it definitely looks like there's something missing on the flag and the left leg.
Besides that, I like it.

Try and use shading on the rest of the body, like you did on the head and flag. Right now the body looks a bit flat, but good job so far.

It was probably Trucido's vexel avatar, which turned out nice.
Anyways, comparing your vector and the photo, it's not a bad try. As i said before, the leg is awkward, but otherwise this is a great start. Keep it up.
