First tag in a while. Took the stocks myself with DivX snapshots and then cut things, added depth, lighting, colour etc/.

I think it'd look better with one of those light things you have.

Nah, I think text would ruin it. Also I changed it yesterday, because I am obsessed with this movie (Harry Brown) lately.

There is a lack of depth, the foreground is on one level, while the background is also on one level, there's only two 'levels' of depth. The point of view used on the background doesn't make it seem realistic, we see his face as though the camera was under him, yet the background is more of a linear view.
There are no effects, the contrast on the guy is good, but the background lacks contrast.
The lighting doesn't make sense, sort of confusing.
What's you focus? His eyes? Nose? You have to know where you want people to look. This seems incomplete, needs some effects, the black and white is the best, without the ambiguous lighting IMO.
Add some effects, and see what you come out with.

You know a lot for some one who just joined. I think the perspective is just a tad off. I don't mind the depth though.

It's awfully conceited of you to assume that, just because one is new to this particular forum, they should lack knowledge.

Connor; yeah, the focal does seem to span too much of the tag.
His clothes also seem too flat in contrast to his face.
