Cheat Engine

Hey boys (and girls Smile

) !

If I use Cheat Engine (NOT UCE) at newer games or Steam games for example (like Half-Life 1 Source, Left4Dead 1+2 etc.

SINGLEPLAYER!) and can't find the (static) pointer values: Is Cheat Engine the reason and do I need any UCE or just some training in Cheat Engine to solve the problem?

Or is UCE only useful for games like flyff?

The UCE only bypasses "Detectors". So you will only need a UCE if something detects that "something" is connected to the game.

@OP: You don't need a UCE for 99.9% of SP games. You need to be looking at some tuts for gamehacking concepts in general. You have the complete wrong idea.

Do you have tried out to solve all problems of the CE tutorial?
If not then do it else...
look for gamespecific tutorials on how to hack them. After some games you gained a lot of knowledge and then you wont have that much problems on getting the hacks by yourself.

In order to answer your question: You won't need an UCE (unless the game or any antihack thingy tells you that CE was detected) but more experience.

One of that exercises deals with multi-level pointers. After doing this perhaps your problems are solved.
If you need more hints than given, look around in the forum or search for the step you have problems in solving.

Multilevel Pointers are no problem, except: somethimes I can't find the static adress -.- Step 9 is the only problem Confused

you target your proccess just like cheat engine it will then ask you for a .dll hack file. So you can hook it also comes with a gui system and tells you how its doing its a great program to use to hack stuff. Please rep me for this one XD took me a long time to find a working hack injector on my own time >.<. It might mis interpret it. Its not a virus its a hacking program just like cheat engine so dont worry.
