Hello everyone, I'm not new to this forum, however I haven't been here in a long time.
And, I come in need of help Sad
I had a TF2 Aimbot, of which worked for about two months, the only people I Know that had it was me, and my friend (who made it).. and I suppose it was patched, because every time I try to bring up the menu in-game it crashes the game. It can bypass VAC just fine and everything, but when I go to open the insert menu, it just crashes. Sad

..Obviously, i'm not the most intellectually inclined in this field, in fact I know next to nothing about it, but is there a way to.. err, "fix" the Aimbot so it works again?

..And who would have thought that valve would have gone out of their way to patch an Aimbot used by two people? >_>

Any help is appreciated.

It's usually a little more involved then just doing a couple of patches. It also depends on if anything has changed in the game. Valve won't directly patch a hack either. The game will simply have had an update, most likely not with any hacks in mind, and the hack simply fails to recognize the bits it's supposed too. In simply terms anyway. Also, many times with aimbots, you won't get decent free undetected ones. A lot of work goes in to them, and most 'outlets' charge for the privelege. Don't get your hopes up too much.

VAC doesn't kick, nor ban on detection. It's delayed, that's the trick. You (the user) can't tell if you've actually gotten around detection or not until one day your account is toast.

More likely something changed in an update and the hack just so happened to break. Updates are required and automatic so Valve can push whatever they please as any time.

Ah, well, it turns out with the new update, they must have changed something with scout.. and it's causing it to crash.

And, I didn't know VAC worked like that. O_o
Like a delayed ban system? That's tricky.

It makes it damn hard for hack authors to actually know whether something has been detected or not. This is definately an advantage VAC has over other AC's, like say, Punkbuster which typically does kick on detection immediately.
