Wtf...

Anyone know why I cant play games or run anything executable in fullscreen? I have two monitors but one is turned off.

You can.
You might have it set to open windowed by default, check the executable's settings.
Also, use AeroSnap or whichever it is, just grab the window and drag it to the very top of the screen, then let go.

Set it to windowed mode. Still nothing. it starts as fullscreen still.

It starts.. But then ends. As i said. Black screen then it goes to desktop.
