first, if i haven't said it lately, thank you again for your wonderful application. i use it every day.
at any rate, due to some computer problems, i currenly wiped my HD on one of my systems and then i re-installed XP on it. I have a second drive and will be installing windows 7 as an alternate boot OS. I have some questions for you.
1) does C.E. work at all with windows 7?
2) If so, what parts of it are functional, and which are not?
3) Are there any special things to consider to get it to attach to a program?
4) are we able to use the features like "Find out what accesses this address?", etc.
5) are there any plans to move CE towards windows 7?
6) if C.E. works at all, does it require 32 bit or is 64 bit work?
any other people reading this who have experience with it, feel free to report your experiences as well.
best,
Cal

1: yes, it works fine in windows 7
2: all parts are functional, unless you use 64-bit, in which case you can't use kernel debugging
3: Run it as administrator
4: yes, just don't use kernelmode debugging if you use 64-bit (so if you do use 64-bit and have a game that screws up default debugging, you're screwed)
5: the next ce will have a nicer looking icon because windows 7 can handle better looking icons...
6: preferably 32-bit, but 64-bit works fine as well

Ha thanks... That explains it.... Stupid me for getting 64bit.
I've been having to load back into xp to do the debugging, now i understand why
