How do I cheat?

So I tried to hack SimCity 4 to get a lot of money... (I kinda screwed up my favorite city, and I'm not quite ready to scrap it)

But whenever I try to scan it for values, I get this error:

"Extreme scan failed! The remote scan routine didn't tell me how to cancel the scan, which makes me to believe the scan never started."

Can anybody help me find out what I did wrong, and give me directions on how to fix it?

go to settings and disable "use hyperscan when possible"

and just never use hyperscan
