You can edit the thread title, but not the poll title.

That's why you make it vague so that it can be given possibilities for edit.

Example:

Before Edit/Original:
"Do you support peace?"
Poll title: I...
Poll: do or don't.

After edit:
"Do you ever think of murdering your lover?"
Poll tile: I...
Poll: do or don't.
