What might be a good reason? the reason i want to exchange it is because i got a scratch on mine and i dont like any scratches on my ipod so i kinda want a new one. I have a warranty till next year so any good ideas?
I was going to say that the volume button is messed up and keeps spazzing out even after i restore it, it happens sometimes so i want them to replace it because it might be suffering from water damage. good?

Does the warranty cover water damage? I wouldn't say it could be x at all. Just say it's fucking up, they'll
probably take it as a malfunction from when it was made.

scratch is on the front. its a deep scratch it wont go away. like if im looking at something theres a black streak going through it

| How about just accepting the fact that if you want your things to be nice, you have to keep them nice? Why should Apple be scammed into replacing something just because you can't take care of it?

| Just remember that warranties can sometimes be a little tricky, so always read the fine print about what can be considered for replacement, trust me on this one.

it`s a small, deep scratch... & im not spoiled i just want to keep my things in a nice condition. i just bought a cover for it recently and i thought there would be no point since its all scratched up (steel back) and the front got that scratch on it. im not careless, it just fell when i had it connected to the computer and hit the leg of my desk...

Warranty does not mean a replace guarantee.
Just tell them sometimes the volume fucks up and see what they'll say.

I got it this summer, I think the warranty is a year long and I`m gona say something like that.

It was deffective.
There were scratches on it when i opened, and i opened it carefully.
Connection problems, set up problems, ect... try stuff like that.
