I have just downloaded eclipse for C++ development and Cygwin, after installing eclipse, cdt 6.0, cygwin with a whole Devel package I tested if it works and (like everything that's come from nix) it's unusable without spending a week, messing around with settings. I googled for a couple of days, read documentation, mailing list archives and tutorials about setting it up,trying to figure out how to fix settings so that eclipse will work with gnu compiler. When compiling from Cygwin bash it works like it should, so it's ok, but when I run gcc or g++ from windows cmd "Access is Denied." pops up, same with eclipse since it sends same g++... command line to compile. Does anybody know how to set up this shit? because im tired of it :/

Why use cygwin? Use mingw. Or use visual C++ express, or code::blocks or CodeLite. The latter 2 come with installers for mingw. Otherwise install linux because gcc works best on linux.
