I'd need to install Wine, but yes.

So is it drastically different from Windows or whatnot?
I'm kinda interested in using Linux, but I don't have the time to learn a completely new way of using my computer. =\

It's not a HUGE difference, it's a lot cleaner, a lot nicer, a lot more organized, it seems a lot faster, but maybe that's just a placebo effect?
And it isn't all THAT different, just no EXE's.
It's weird to install things, but Ubuntu came with this software program that lets me browse tonnes of programs and let me choose what I want to install, it's actually very useful.
On a side note, everything I have, I didn't need to install drivers for, besides my graphics card.

So how is playing games on it?
I looked at the Linux games list, and there aren't a lot. Is there a way to play Windows/Mac games on Linux?

You can see a full list of supported games using Wine.
EDIT: Don't think you can go out and buy the newest game that's made and then play it using Wine.
