Hate cats.
I had a cat once(Actually, two of them).
The first one was boring. I just didn't get into having it around the house doing absolutely nothing. The cuddling and all that crap is irritating to me. Maybe for one second it's ok, but then im just like "get off"
The second one was a royal pain in the ass. The thing would hiss at anything that moved. I just couldn't stand being near it and i The End the cat.
I <3 my doggies. They're so friendly and not boring. To me, they're like people. They're considerate. If i'm feeling like crap and don't want them near, they'll go away if I tell them to. They're clean. My dogs only take a crap and pee at a corner in the backyard. I let them indoors almost all day long and they don't make a mess.

Yelling doesn't get you anywhere unless you strike fear into the dog(Another type of bad training). Seriously, you're a shitty owner. You failed to show that you are the authoritative figure. The dog doesn't respect you.

Doesn't matter if he's a family dog or not. The problem is you. You failed to train him.
It's like a human. Unless you teach it how to behave, it never will. The more you wait to teach it how to act around others, the more difficult it will be for them to learn.
If he likes everyone else but not you, then it means the dog just doesn't see you as it's owner. In other words, he doesn't care about you. In it's eyes, you're not a threat and you have no value.
Advice: Play with it and give it some <3. It will start to like you.

It took me like 2 weeks to potty train a dog.
Every time it took a shit or piss somewhere other than in the corner or our washroom where we laid out some doggy litter shit, we would grab it, stuff its nose near the shit or piss, and then spank it a few times.
Then 2 weeks after that my uncle's friend took the dog back and wondered why it was so obedient. Our family lol'd. |

no, my dog is trained to go out, and come to his name and even jump on hos hind legs. he's just disobediant towards everything else
