one thing that makes firefox bad is that ever time you do an update for it
it gets slower

I've used both and I can say that I like Firefox better.

Opera fails with java, I hate that. I like the way opera works a lot better but it just doesn't handle content correctly sometimes.

I used Opera for over a year before I switched back to Firefox.

Firefox is good for web development because of the add-ons, but really. Without any add-ons, Opera can do most of the stuff Firefox can do with add-ons.
