so it just loads a default windows, and resets every time i turn off the computer. all my stuff (installed stuff is there) and i have a few things in my desktop, but all my folders and pictures are gone. is there any way to fix this

it says:
Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

The account you are trying to log in over the network isn't available, ask the admin of the network.

I had the same problem after being an idiot while installing windows 7. I just reformatted and reinstalled, having had my shit already backed up. Settings were royally fucked up beyond what even a repair install could fix.

I agree with Zarr. There is a theoretical solution to dump the settings to the default ones, but you wont gain anything from it. Backing up your files and reinstalling is the best option.
