I don't recommend it though. If you've updated your Dsi's firmware at least once since last August, it will be blocked.

Technically, the R4 stopped being manufactured years ago, all that exists now are cheap rip-offs. I'm sure there's an acekard available though.

The last update for the R4 was, yes, a couple of years ago.

As for the card you should get, either the Acekard 2i or the M3i Zero.

They both get frequent update, support homebrew, of best of all, they can get around the DSi firmware with a simple update if Nintendo decides to block another wave of flashcarts in their next firmware release.

If you've used previous flashcarts, the M3i is similar to the iTouch and the older generation M3's that were made for the original DS.
Although the Acekard is one I can't find a comparison with. Hmm...

Either way, they're both pretty much flawless.
