What's a good brand of hair gel? I normally get the cheap ones, ($3-$5 ones) and they flake on me, or don't hold as strong as they say (Strength 9/10 my ass). I've been using Clear Ice with hair spray over it lately, and that seems to be working fine with me, but the thing is, it costs more to purchase the hair gel and hair spray.

So does anyone use hair gel here, or am I just styling my hair with gel wrong?

PROBLEM FIXED BABY!

Haha, I was actually thinking about that, because I also have dandruff when I let my hair grow out. I wanted to shave my head, and keep scratching the dandruff off.

But no, I have a odd shaped head. Cool

using too much gel and daily uses will really develop lots of lots of dandruff...best way to use it hair wax, ever heard of it? well it's really strong. actually stronger than Gel!

FUCK Gel. Let's move to another product known as Hair Wax. Doesn't make your look gross, just know your amount to put in. You don't want a lot.
Suggested Brand: Axe Hair Wax

VO5 is good. But I think it depends on what hair you have. It's really strong once it dries but if your hair is really thick or too long you'll have trouble keeping it up before it dries. But however long/heavy your hair is. Once it's up + dried with VO5 it's up for good

Making your hair wet before you put in gel helps too.
It makes the gel stronger for me.

Short hair, yes. Long hair, no.

If your hair doesn't stay up that well just make sure you're careful and leave the gel to dry properly before rushing around. Cause for most gels once it's dried it'll stay up all day

It's not available everywhere because they don't have the funds to distribute it everywhere.
