It is the 1st one, the safebrowsing-cache.google.com=74.125.45.100
How do I get rid of it? When I tell it to remove it, it says C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts is not allowed and could not create file?
Code: | Fraud.WindowsProtectionSuite: [SBI $B197733A] Redirected host (Redirected host, nothing done)
safebrowsing-cache.google.com=74.125.45.100

Use MalwareBytes or any other AV to remove it.

Do you have full access (read & write) to the c:\Windows\ directory and its subdirectories? Try running SpyBot S&D from and admin level account (or the admin account itself).

Well, I don't really know what's happening here, but If you want to block an IP, you go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the hosts file with notepad, and add the IP you wan't to block or the sire you want to block.

try eset online scanner to start. Not much to download or install. After that you can try malware bytes like posted above.

PeerGuardian and other IP filter softwares can be used to block IP addresses.

I ran it as admin plus I don't have a hosts file in that sub-directly. I have an imhosts file but none of them say hosts. I have tried Malwareytes as well but it wouldn't work and kept crashing when trying to fix it.

In the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ directory you must have a file called "hosts" (without any extension), although it won't cause much trouble if you don't.
