I want an AMD duo, because my intel R pentium 4 CPU can't run games at resolution of 800X600, only at 640X 640... specially when it's 2008 or 2009 games.. like borderlands, cod 6, etc...
how much will it cost me? which one is cheaper? AMD or intel?

AMD are cheaper, but you will still have to get yourself a brand new PC

Well there are a lot of things to consider. First off you have intel, AMD cpu's are not compatible, so new mother board and such is needed. Second if you know how to install it properly and the heat-sink or fan, then apply a thermal compound and such. So its a lot of work just to replace the cpu and while your at, might as well get a new computer if the rest of the comp is lacking. I'm just guessing since u have a P4 im assuming the rest of the computer is old as well.
