Is there a program I can use to monitor my bandwidth? Like how much I download a month and how much I upload.
My ISP gives me "unlimited" bandwidth, but I'm just curious.

Your ISP might offer unlimited bandwidth, but your router/modem most certainly does not.

So there would still be a limit? If so, how much?

I don't need to measure what my speeds are, I just want a way to measure how much bandwidth I use every month or something like that. Like how much I download/upload.

| Unlimited bandwidth means exactly that. Elpacco either meant that the speed of your network limits bandwidth over time, or confused bandwidth for speed, which kind of confuses me.

Even though your ISP may offer unlimited bandwidth (like mine) but your router/modem will still come to a half after using too much internets.

uh, no.
apparently you don't know what you're talking about. like usual
Unlimited bandwidth is referring to no caps / limits being enforced on you.
Your internet is dying because you've either:
1. Hit the maximum allowed connections which Windows by default, used to limit to something retarded. since you're making a shitload of connections on a torrent, you can hit this easily.
2. Saturated the shit out of either your upload (more likely) or your download by that point.

Uh, bandwidth != data transfer, bandwidth = maximum transfer speed. ISPs always fuck the meaning of the term around to mean something it's not because, well, marketing guys usually aren't also tech guys. If an ISP says "unlimited bandwidth", of course they mean that there's no data transfer cap - unlimited bandwidth would mean 100-1000Mbps, limited only by the bandwith of your ethernet connection; since offering 100-1000Mbps to hundreds of thousands of people would fuck their network unless they spent many, many trillions of dollars completely reworking the country's infrastructure, it shouldn't be hard to figure out what they mean.
@elpacco, you could probably fix any "limits" by resetting the router/computer. If an ISP explicitly says "unlimited bandwidth", then impose a hidden limit, that would be false advertising.

And also, yeah I did have data transfer and bandwidth confused. Thanks.

bandwidth is the term to describe the rate at which companies cap your speed.
When companies say unlimited bandwidth, they mean unlimited bandwidth per month.
but we all are limited by bandwidth per second (ie 10mbps)
Just because it's a different time span doesn't mean it isn't still referring to bandwidth...
Anyway, http://www.desksoft.com/BWMeter.htm
That's what i use.
