How good is a tablet pc when it comes to its touch screen feature?
Is it better than a pen tablet?
Does it offer the same confortability as a tablet?
I've been planning on getting one for a while to replace my pen tablet :3. Comments would be nice.

most of TabletPCs are just click sensitive but not pressure sentitive. by other hand most of tablets are pressure sensitive, when the best ones at the moment are the Wacom brand ones.
and the best tablet on the market right now would be the Cintiq
which is basically a big flat screen where you can draw on top with a pressure sensitive pen.
you can get a little one to start like I did, the Genius Gpen 4500 is 40$ or so but it is really small.
I saved up some money and I'm about to buy a Wacom Intuos4 Medium size (( which is something like an A4 ))

I already have a little one, I use it for drawing.
It's for my graduation, I could actually get something uber expensive from my dad.
=O? THEY'RE NOT PRESSURE SENSITIVE? DAMN~! totally ruined my considerations.

I dont know any, sorry.
only tablet PCs I know are some HP models.
really tablet PCs are not for drawing, just for writing and doodling.
basically they are Netbooks with a Cintiq instead of screen.

Oh, thanks after a bit of research. Apparently wacom has some stuff related to tablet pcs, giving them pen pressure etc.
http://www.wacom.com/TabletPC/what_is_penabled.cfm
But eh, no idea where to find the penabled logo.

| Imo, the Wacom Bamboo is preferred.

Like gogodr said, the only tabletpcs out there (that I have found) are of the HP brand. And trust me, there are so many problems with HP computers its not even funny. You never want to buy an HP, the worst decision I've made computer wise was to get an HP pavillion dv6000. If I were you I'd stick with the wacom line of tablets. The cintiq has a color screen and many customizable features. I spent months researching tablets before I broke down and bought a bamboo fun.

I'm saving up for an Intuos4 Medium too Gogodr, hoping to have enough with birthday and Christmas money combined. Also, I may be mistaken, but aren't tablet PCs laptops? If so they'd be pretty annoying working with high resolution images due to the lag.

So uhh, Tablet pcs are only good if they have pen pressure eh?
Looks like I'm gonna need to buy a laptop and a cintiq to go with it.

I've used a TabletPC, it's worthless to designers...
A Cintiq is what I've wanted for 2-3 years.
