Hello,
I have been using Cheat Engine recently to cheat in a few web based games, like farmville. I have no intention to cheat in any online multiplayer game, like COD4. I am just wondering, will Punkbuster ban me, if I have Cheat Engine installed but not running when I am playing COD4 on a PB secure server?

probably not, but you never know. Some anti cheats even ban you for visiting the cheat engine website during play

You should restart you comp after use of CE, since some anti hack pick up the usage of it. Some of them are War rock, Ava (N protect if im not wrong) and some of the other "gamefirst" games.
