Would that be difficult to program? Also could/would anyone mind giving a simple example?

I don't know what brand of vb you are using. VB6 or VB.NET. If its .NEt you should be able to take advantage of .NET's sock routines.

Yeah, I'm using VB 2008 .NET, so could you give an example please? I only know the basics for in Programming 1 class this is what we are doing Smile (learning basics)
