Hi, im starting with Windows 7 and i have a problem detecting kernel level hooks.

With XP i had several tools for detect this like: Rootkit Unhooker, IceSword and RootKit Hook Analyzer... but none works for Windows 7, even if i run them with XP compability or Run As Admin, seems like they can't load their driver.

Does anyone know how to make them work or another tool that work for 7?

You can't go around installing kernel mode drivers in x64 normally.

You have to disable the check on boot or use the test mode trick.

If you're just doing this for security, forget about it.

Not x64... x86. Doing this because i need to hook functions on ring0 and WinDbg sucks for this, thanks for the answer
