Cheat Engine

Hey, basically for the past year now whenever I attatch cheat engine to somthing and click enable speedhack cheat engine freezes up and I can't click anything on it at all, it pretty much goes into not responding mode then after waiting for 15-25 minutes the speedhack applies and I can use it.

This has been annoying me for quite a while now because waiting this long to use a speedhack is crap especially because it never used to do this on my computer, it'd load the speedhack instantly.

I've tried resetting the settings/re-installing in different directories/complete reinstalls etc nothing has worked for me I've tried double clicking the process/clicking okay/debug mode etc none of it has worked.

I'm pretty much lost for ideas here and any help you could give would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

And is this windows OS?

Disable your anti virus. (Especially if you use nod32) and firewall (if it isn't the default windows firewall)

I completely disabled my firewall + antivirus but it still takes ages to enable the speedhack, it's actually a few minutes faster at loading it now though, takes about 10-15 minutes instead of 15-25 but it's still not even close to loading instantly like it used to.
