I've tried a few different games but can't find any addressed for exp, health, points, ect. Usually, I use the exact value scan and an x amount of results will come up, but it always ends up that nothing comes up on the next scan. This only happens online, because I was able to do it to Windows XP pinball. I tried it with Facebook games (Farkle, Farmville, Cafe World, Mindjolt), "Bored" games, myspace games (like Mafia Wars,) and addicting games and I use Google Chrome as my default browser. I don't kow if it's because of a block or I'm just retarded but I did the whole tutorial and just want to know what I'm doing wrong, considaring I just did the download. Thank you.

you can't do it on some facebook games, but there is still a chance. It is not possible in farmville, but there are some you can do it on. Make sure you are using firefox, it has problems in ie.

Cheat Engine works with Google Chrome, but Chrome uses several processes at once so finding the right process can be a bit annoying. Firefox is the ideal browser to use when using CE.

Facebook games tend to be pretty tricky to cheat, so I would go to the flash section to see what advice you can pick up there.

Ok thanks... So far I havent successfully hacked any games besides pinball... Are there any games you recommend practicing on?

You could try 'Bloons Tower Defence 3'. There's plenty of values you can mess with, and very few complications. You can find it on Addictinggames, or just google it. I hear that 'Bloons Tower Defence 4' is out, but I'm not sure if it's easy to hack or not...

If you want to try yourself on ASM chould try 'Rainbow six: Vegas 2'
Many diffrent values that help you, and understandeble ASM codes.

And as a bonus; Some of them work in lan (NON punkbuster)

Alright it's really ticking me off now... I tried CE on about 4 different "Bloon" games and I can't get any results on the second search... I guess I'm a retard because I'm obviously doing something wrong. Here are the steps that I take.

Step 1: Click on the blinking computer icon.
Step 2: Find the process in the Window List.
Step 3: Type in the current value of the number I want to change.
Step 4: Click on first scan.
Step 5: Change the value that was just scanned in your game.
Step 6: Type in the new value.
Step 7: Click next scan.

( Step 8: Click new scan because nothing appears in the list on the left! ='[ )

Can you please show me the error of what I'm doing?

Thanks for the detailed description. Unfortunately, everything you're doing is completely correct. A revised list of values should come up on your second scan, unless:

A) The value is a different value type than you're searching (What type are you using, anyways?)

B) It's located in the memory from 00000000 - 00400000. (You can scan that area as well by clicking "All" under "Memory Scan Options" on the main Cheat Engine page)

C) Something else is going on that's completely beyond me.

I'm betting on C to be honest -.-'

A) I know I'm using the right value, and I use the exact value scan type and value type 4 bytes.

B) Uhm, my memory scan options are 32 bit that says from 0400000 - 7FFFFFFF. I also have none of the boxes under checked.

C) I really hope not... ='(

From what I see, I guess in (B), I have something wrong. How would I fix all that?

Flash game?, multiply the value by 8
eks) if the value is 100 (100*8 = 800), u have to scan for 800

To change your memory scan options, click "New Scan" so that the Memory Scan area becomes clickable, and then click the dot that says "All". It should be pretty simple to find, THEN try your scan. And don't forget to multiply by 8 if it's a flash game, Asad's right I think.

Alright thanks guys I got it to work... Firefox failed but when I fixed the scan options to all I was able to hack Bloons... Thanks
