I just got my cast off after about 2 months, any recommendations on exercises to gain my wrist motion again? It hurts like hell when I try to move it any direction.

Sleep.
Next day, if still hurts, intentionally hurt it.
If it feels moar pain, it will heal because it knows you're angry.

I'd call you a troll, but sometimes hurting it on purpose stops it for some reason.

Hurting yourself somewhere else is supposed to help.

...I was looking more for people that had previous experience with broken bones and hard tendons and if they did certain exercises or stretches to help improve the recovery rate.

| I would put a warm compress of some sort on it, for starters. That might make it feel a little better.

I'd say just ice it. I doubt hurting it more will help. Usually when I have large pains in my legs, icing helps a lot. It doesn't matter what's hurting it, or why it's hurting, ice just always seems to help me.

Try doing something that requires slight wrist movement.
You could try playing the piano if you know how.
Or play an intense computer game, where you are moving the mouse the majority of the time. GunZ for example.
Unless you don't want to move it at all... I'd say keep it warm. Get into a hot tub and sit there for a bit. That usually helps me when I'm sore.
I wouldn't hurt it anymore though.

Just keep hitting it against things. Not enough to injure it again, of course, but just keep hitting it against things to make it feel pain. It'll kickstart your nerves and make your brain remember than it is part of your body.

| Go lift some 5 lb dumbbells and start doing some forearm exercises lightly. Rehab training works when ever you are recovering from a injury.

| I agree that squeezing a ball progressively harder is probably your best bet.

Alright, thanks, I'll try one of those stress ball things, I still have about a week off of PE so I can work on it there too.
