Cheat Engine

I am trying to use a hack for pet society on facebook

I downloaded - firefox, flash 9, and cheatengine to do this

but cheatengine keeps freezing (and i can't click anything in cheatengine)

it will not allow me to proceed when i try to open a new window in cheatengine.

Does anyone have any advice... is there another component i am missing? or is this just not something that is possible to use on a mac with crossover?

Has this happened to anyone who was using cheatengine on a pc?

maybe you need flash 10?

how exactly does cheat engine freeze? can you put up a screenshot?

no the cheat specifically indicated that i needed flash player 9

ohh so you have a trainer. then i guess you don't need cheat engine to do the job because you have the trainer...

no i don't have the trainer... i don't know what a trainer is

i need cheatengine

i right clicked then chose disassemble memory region

nvm figured it out myself just have to use cheat engine 5.4 instead for some reason

That's all you need to cheat in games. Cheat engine isn't going to work so dont try. It's native to windows and cannot function simply by trying to emulate it. For the exact same reason your windows specific games won't function on Max/linux because of the anti-cheat systems (primarily).

well thats weird cuz i definitely got it to work
hmm i don't know what you are talking about, but its working fine now with 5.4 version

i need windows based firefox because in order for cheat engine to work with the firefox they both have to be in crossover

i don't think other cheat programs work with pet society on facebook

Your an idiot for emulating to do it. Harsh thing to say but really you'd get better performance from both if you did it with Max/unix native applications.

You may be able to edit simple web application addresses, but it really makes no sense to emulate windows functions on a non-windows OS when its perfectly possible to do it without the windows applications.

I guarantee that not all functions of CE will not work under emulation.

I'm not trying to use all functions of CE!

I'm just trying to use it for ONE reason and that is for a facebook game - and the cheat engine for mac (ihaxgames) does not work for this certain facebook game

yes i am just trying to edit a simple web application address that is it
I will probably not ever even try to use CE for any other game

i don't think it is perfectly possible to do this with mac applications
