Hi @ all,
I have a problem with freezing the skill points in Fallout 3 because i can't
find the values.
Thats a problem i have with several games.
I the main window at the "Memory scan options" i already checked "All" and "Also scan Read-Only-Memory".
I did a 4-Byte Scan, i did a Float Scan, i did a Double Scan, and i Also did a Scan for "All (Byte to Double)".
But i just can't find the value of the skill points so now i need help!
somebody knows what to do?
thx

and is there a way to find the values?
i think there must be, cause there are trainers that can freeze these values so i should be possible to find the values.

You can always just start with unknown value and change the value you want up and down until you get a few values left and just try them. Sometimes they make the values a multiple of the real value.

the actual value may not be the same as the actual value that is displayed in game.
starting with an unknown search and using increase / decreased tends to be pretty simple.

Try including memory mapped memory
And perhaps the values are stored in a weird way. E.g: a skill of 1 would be stored as 99, 2 as 98, etc...
and if all else fails, try changed/unchanged with the help of the console command to change your skill

it's memory that is directly linked to hardware (like a physical file, or display memory)
It's slow and most of the time won't contain anything useful (and old ati/amd drivers tend to crash and bsod windows)
anyhow, go to settings->scan settings and enable mapped memory.
But I would really first try doing an unknown initial value /changed/unchanged method
