No, Wahoa suggested to stop it, as people would vote on a specific tag because they like the theme.

I think it was because it was stated that saying next week's theme during entry/voting could influence votes. People would vote for a theme they want rather than the sig itself.
Also,
Your sig would have won either way. I don't think it has to do with you picking food as you would have probably done so either way.

Apart from the two reasons on why they choose which ever tag they should also give a valid reason on why that tag is better than the rest or why they like it over the others. That way you can avoid
