I picked up this book which is "guaranteed to make you an atheist" and supposedly written by one of the smartest men in the world.
Ok, so I open the book and inside there 's like this small quote before the book itself, here's what it says.
Isn't it enough to see that the garden is beautiful without having to believe there are fairies at the bottom of it too?
This made me promptly rage at his stupidity and close the book.

He's supposed to be one of the smartest men in the world, and he started a book with a quote that a 16 year old teenager pulled apart and used to enforce the opposing argument.

The gardener is physical being, it can be touched and seen, whilst God(or fairies) posses none of the above mentioned characteristics.
That's not a good comparison mate  .
