When I try to do it without a 3rd-party program, I can't find "\iPod_Control\Music". When I use Poddox, it says 'no ipod detected'. When I use tansee iphone copy or whatever it is, it just says 'waiting for iphone' forever.
I've got itunes 9, 3.0 on my ipod touch, and I've jailbroke it. Help, anyone?

programs like iDump dont work with touches becuase it uses a flash based hardrive, not actual moving disks.

1. I wouldn't use iTunes 9, go back to 8.x
2. Try going into DFU and restoring to a time it worked on a backup if you have one?

| Have you tried this, plugin your ipod touch via usb connection to you pc and open the folder and change the view settings, show hidden files.

You sure you weren't looking at an ad for another program? This one freeware, there is no paid version to my knowledge.

Yes, and it doesn't work. It'll only show pictures; no other files get exposed.

windows key + r
write in msconfig
go to services
look for Apple Mobile Device
if you don't see it, get newest itunes
???

Have you tried using Win scp or Iphonebrowser? (Iphonebrowser does work for ipod touch)

They all say my ipod isn't connected or recognized or something along those lines, according to the program.
I know it isn't the ipod, because I borrowed a friend's (he couldn't jailbreak it, so I did it for him, but that's beside the point) and it wouldn't register for his either. What are the chances of two ipods randomly being trashed?
Anyway, long story short, how do I get it to recognize my ipod?
