God !!! just got it and it worked VERY SMOOTHLY , even better with aero on .

I'd never thought i can run it so smoothly with aero on with 1 gb ram , dual core 2.50 ghz and no graphic card .

what about drivers for everything ? do i need to use a driver checker and get them all ?

Yes Windows 7 in my opinion is by far the best OS ever created to date...
Tell us your PC Model or your specifications and we can help you locate correct drivers...

Just installed Windows 7 7600RTM on my system from the party pack I got in the mail. Took about 2 hours-ish to upgrade from the RC to RTM (with a slight hack to get it to work). Honestly, I don't feel that much of a difference; RC seems just about as good as the RTM.

On my old computer that was a XP to start out, it seems to be running much faster for me.

That's what I'm doing but having it installed on 2 other computers is fine by me

He said in his opinion, don't try and tell him something is better.

And yes, I agree, it's a fantastic operating system; I haven't had a single problem with it over 3 months (on the RC). It is the best OS ever created in my opinion also.

Lol, when i first wrote that post I knew some people where Linux Fans and Mac Fans, so then I added in my opinion... Some people do find other OS's better and that's perfectly fine. Everyone had there own opinion and there own reason's and needs to tell them which OS is better or worse. Personally I dislike Linux and Mac but I haven't used them for more then an hour so that could change i the future...

It's a rather pleasant experience IMO, even in a VM with only 1GB RAM it feels zippy.

Too bad my current build doesn't have 64-bit drivers, :(

You have a hardware or driver problem, it's not the OS
