Cancer falls under cellular biology i believe since it is caused from deformed cells.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molecular_biology
"Molecular biology is the study of biology at a molecular level."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_biology
"Cell biology (formerly cytology, from the Greek kytos, "container") is an academic discipline that studies cells – their physiological properties, their structure, the organelles they contain, interactions with their environment, their life cycle, division and death."

Stem cell research? I haven't a clue, but I think it may fall under Cellular Biology since you're messing around with the cell. I don't know, I hate science though.

If you're wondering about what major to pick, they're usually paired as one, at least at my university.
