Those drives have horrible reliability, worse than Seagates normally are. If it was a WD I would say it was a decent deal, but I certainly wouldn't put 1.5tb of data in the hands of a 7200.11 generation drive.

Be sure you update it's firmware as soon as possible. The 7200.11 series has a major firmware-related problem causing the drives to brick themselves when the internal log, updating itself when certain events occur, reaches 320 entries and the drive is powered on. The only way to fix it is to have it replaced by Seagate.

It seems that some sources say that the FreeAgent Desk model is affected by the firmware issue and some say it's not. Go here and read over the article to determine if there's a firmware update available for the drive and, if so, it's probably a good idea to update. Seems that there are a lot of issues with these drives (case in point, newegg reviews) that may or may not be able to be resolved by using newer firmware.
