|
|
Well before I formated my comp , i had a 1280x1024 Screen Resolution on my VA1903wb ( ViewSonic 19"inch Monitor )
Now I cant find the 1280x1024 screen resolution on Properties > Settings.
I was able to find it before I formated.
I also run a 7600GS as Card ( In case that Helps )
Is there a a way to get 1280x1024 resolution?
Thanks in advance~
PS : Ive formated my comp lots of time and this never happened.
I did what I usualy do when I format , installed what I usual Install when I format (use CD Drivers)

SF I am reporting your post to dark byte for spam. All you did was repeat what Localhost already said, quite needlessly.
Right click desktop > personalize > display settings > advanced settings > monitor > uncheck "hide modes that this monitor cannot display"

That method only just let you see the other refresh rates (Hz) a monitor cannot display and has nothing to do with screen resolution.
To OP did that solution solve your problem?

Deselecting this setting may allow the desired mode or resolution to be selectable. |

LocalHost simply said did he install the drivers, OP replied in as he did from the supplied CD, everyone knows that CD drivers are outdated. SF simply stated to install the newest drivers to possibly fix his problem.
So kindly Gun Ecstasy shut your bullshit.
As to the OP it is quite possible that you can force a resolution using the nvidia control panel. See supplied link for details.

Uh congrats of quoting an Intel article written for Intel chips when he has an NVIDIA CARD.
All he needs to do is update his drivers. The drivers can use the EDID information straight from the monitor.

Sounds like he doesn't even have the drivers installed in the first place, as said before, download the latest drivers for your graphics card... You'll likely notice an increase in FPS since it sounds like you haven't updated your drivers in some time.
