I'm in Geometry class right now but everything seems sooooooo easy...
There is another advanced math class that teaches Geometry & Algebra ll.
What math is after Algebra ll? Is the advanced class worth it?

Bro.
We don't all live where you live.
You gotta let us know where you live, or you'll end up getting comments from people who don't live where you do.

I live in New Jersey, here Geometry is 10th grade math, I also took it in 9th grade. Over here it goes like this
9th Grade - Algebra 1.
10th Grade - Geometry
11th - Algebra 2.
I`m in Algebra 2 currently, & it`s basically Algebra 1 except more detailed. So basically a higher level of Algebra? hense Algebra 2.

| I don't know about over there, but where I live, you take Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and then Calculus, counting as a college credit. I'd assume they'd have a Calculus course, or maybe even Trigonometry, after the Algebras.

In the Seattle School district, it goes like so:
Integrated Math 1 A & B (Freshmans)
Geometry 1 & 2 (Sophomores)
Integrated Math 2 A & B (Juniors)
Pre-Calculus or AP Statistics (Seniors)
Integrated Math 1 and 2 are similar to Algebra 1 & 2. Geometry is very, very easy. I was in honors for Geometry and we barely did any of it because our class already knew that crap. So we did mostly trigonometry instead because that's what we're supposed to have in our junior year (Algebra 2) but our school board decided to fucking move trigonometry to pre-calculus and replace it with statistics and data analysis. It's boring shit.
I'm a Junior and taking Advanced Algebra 2 and only been in school for a week. I'm already bored out of my mind. Learning trigonometry is a lot better, you can apply it to many real world things. I have to deal with graphs and plots and shit. I always hated those.

I live in US, MN. Also I was in an advanced class in 8th grade, soo... I see 10th graders in my Geometry class.
Algebra ll is hard? Someone told me it was a waste of time???
@SnowFox - How can you get to calculus in 10th grade? In my school even if we could they wouldn't give us a chance to prove it.

For me algebra was a requirement for geometry so i had to take it. And if i didnt transfer schools, they wouldnt only have 50% of the star test grades for math so they thought i was an idiot when i got a perfect 600. So i guess im sayin that now in 9th grade, im taking honors geometry when i should be taking either Alg. II or Calc. School Sucks...
