wanted to ask if there's a way to remove or hide the lighting under her arms.

You can make a new layer paint it black/gray(fading) and put it on overall, or something like that. Dodge/shadow tool works well too.

lighting doesn't fit, it's a pretty typical signature, needs a border.

Other than that, it's pretty good, just work on lighting.

Like Zydrom said, use dodge/burn tool to lighten/darken areas.
