Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me if with CE I can change the process name?
E.g.: Cheat Engine.exe in MyName.exe
Thanks

rename the exe
Cheat Engine.exe > Cheat Motor.exe
Process = Cheat Motor.exe

Right!!!
But it can't be done during the process is opened!
Can it be done via CE to when the task is already opened?

you could trey messing up the processname in the EProcess structure of the target process.
But I think there is still a 2nd name somewhere else

in settings extra make sure kernelmode read/write processmemory is enabled
open the target process
doubleclick the processname at the top of the ce window and you get the address of the EPROCESS
Then open the memorybrowser and go to that address using the bottom hexview part (if it isn't already there)
scroll a little down till you see the processname. Click it and type the new name. Your process now has a different name. (of course there is still the normal name for the process...)

I've tried to search the process name in the hex table (cause I couldn't find the eprocess address), but i've found a lot of value with that name, so i couldn't know wich was the one I was looking for.
(For memory browser you mean memory viewer right?)
