I didn't know if this was the right forum, but at least my plea for help will be heard.
I have tried the tutorial, and didn't have problems with game that has multi-level pointer. But, some games I have gives me headache, coz the addresses CE give only pointing to itself, and the memory value was not green. If I use "Pointer scan for this address", the location it found will continue to grow, maybe until it devours all my resources..... just maybe...
OK, the question is, what should I do if these thing happens?
Next questions, if I got a handful of memory list that's static, pointing to same memory locations, what should I do to find the real one?
I've been trying the tutorial just to find out if I missing something, but to no avail.

When you found your very first address, was there more than one result that had matching values that would change accordingly?
Sometimes I'll run into a pointer loop where two pointers point to each other, so I'll try one of the other first addresses instead and see where those pointers lead.
Usually picking a different first address will have a static (green) pointer somewhere down the line, if the first one only had a loop.

Take as reflexive/gamehouse games, some games do have results like that. I got the address with value I wanted, and the address is not static, so i search the pointer. The result I got is a handful of list pointing to a pointer. If it just about 5-7, I can find it, but if it's 100++, I know that I must have been wrong in something....
Pointer looping? Yes, I do encounter it occasionally, but mostly I ignore it, and find a pointer that has value or static address. Like farm frenzy. but games like build in time was hard enough. At least.
Oh yeah, some games also have multiple static address also, and with all precautions done above, still can't find the right address. Do static pointer can be another pointer from static pointer...???? Just a guess.
